Tips for tuning a ukulele
Standard ukulele tuning is re-entrant: the G string nearest your chin is tuned higher than the C next to it, which gives the ukulele its bright, close sound. A common way to remember it is the phrase "My Dog Has Fleas" sung to the open strings.
Tune in a quiet room, play one string at a time, and let it ring past the initial attack before you read the needle. Within ±5 cents is in tune for almost any purpose. Your audio is analysed in your browser and never uploaded.
