How the vocal range test works
The test listens through your microphone and records the lowest and highest notes you hold steadily for about a second. Brief squeaks and slides don't count, so the result reflects notes you can actually sustain.

Questions
How do I find my vocal range?
Warm up, then sing your lowest and highest comfortable notes on an "ah", holding each for a second. The test picks up the notes you sustain.
Can my vocal range increase?
Yes. Regular, healthy practice and warm-ups usually extend a range by a few notes at each end over time.
Is my audio recorded?
No. It's analysed live in your browser and never leaves your device.
