About the 528 Hz tone

528 Hz is one of the so-called solfeggio frequencies, promoted online for healing and 'DNA repair'. There's no reliable scientific evidence for those claims. As a sound, 528 Hz is just a pitch between C5 and C♯5, and you're welcome to enjoy it for what it is.

A 528 Hz sine wave completes 528 cycles every second; each cycle lasts 1.894 ms, and the sound wave is about 65.0 cm long in air. The nearest musical note is C5.

Start with the volume low and raise it slowly. Use the slider to move away from 528 Hz, or try another preset: 20 Hz · 40 Hz · 50 Hz · 60 Hz · 100 Hz · 256 Hz · 432 Hz · 440 Hz · 1,000 Hz · 8,000 Hz · 15,000 Hz · 17,400 Hz · 20,000 Hz.
